xDSL is a family of technologies designed to set up "Digital Subscriber Lines" (DSLs) using copper pairs of existing telephone cabling as a medium, and provides high rate of connection (up to 50 Mbps).

The ETHERNET technology allows uniting local area networks and Internet. Using a leased line and a high-speed modem provides permanent Internet connection. To access the Internet using Ethernet, the customer needs an Ethernet hub or switch (when connecting a local area network) or an Ethernet network card (when connecting an individual computer).

Internet access using Frame Relay enables qualitative data transmission with packet switching between user’s remote devices. Such devices can be routers, computing complexes, etc. Frame Relay can be used to construct an integrated service network: transmission of voice, video and other types of traffic.

Access over leased line is permanent connection between the user’s computer and the provider’s server. The user gets high rate and high connection quality. Domain name (domain address) is a unique text ID of computer (host) connected to the Internet. Domain names are a constituent part of URL that indicates specific web pages. DNS (Domain Name Service) is a service that translates an alphanumeric domain name into a numerical IP address. A second level domain is registered using the following pattern: your_name.com, your_name.net, your_name.ru.
